Dora Henderson is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Qualified Supervisor (LMHC-QS), and Certified Safe & Sound Practioner with UNYTE-ILS. She specializes in integrating the power of play with EMDR and the integration of neuroscience with play therapy, and is also a TraumaPlay® Supervisor and an EMDR Consultant-in-Training, and the co-host of the Neuroscience of Play Therapy Summit at the Beach. Additionally, she is an APT Approved Provider (#22-666) and an EMDRIA Approved Provider (#23002) offering a variety of courses.
Dora is passionate about helping individuals of all ages heal from traumatic experiences and move towards a happier, healthier life. She has training and certifications in various areas, to include Sand Tray Therapy, TraumaPlayTM, Theraplay®, MAP, and the Safe & Sound Protocol.
Dora is also the creator of beautiful puppets and books, to include the Neuro & the Ception Force FriendsTM series and the Adventures of Sandi & Clammy series. Each professional is responsible for the individual requirements as stipulated by his/her licensing agency. Please contact your individual licensing board/regulatory agency to review continuing education requirements for licensure renewal. Please note: You must attend "live" (in real-time) to earn CE credits.
