Each professional is responsible for the individual requirements as stipulated by his/her licensing agency. Please contact your individual licensing board/regulatory agency to review continuing education requirements for licensure renewal. Please note: You must attend "live" (in real-time) for the duration of the training to earn CE credits.
After the event, you will receive access to your evaluation and continuing education certificate via a personalized "attendee dashboard" link, hosted on the CE-Go website. This link will be sent to the email account you used to register for the event.
Upon accessing the CE-Go "attendee dashboard", you will be able to:
- Complete evaluation forms for the event
- Download your continuing education certificate in a PDF format

- Explain key neuroscience principles including neuroplasticity, attachment, sensory integration, and autonomic nervous system functioning and their relevance to play therapy practice.
- Analyze how the Therapeutic Powers of Play support neural integration, emotional regulation, resilience, and relational healing across developmental stages.
- Demonstrate neuroscience-informed play therapy interventions that promote regulation, symbolic expression, attachment security, and cognitive-emotional integration.
- Differentiate developmentally responsive play therapy approaches that address the neurobiological effects of trauma, adversity, and stress in children, adolescents, and families.
- Apply evidence-informed play therapy strategies that integrate neuroscience concepts into assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making.
- Evaluate the role of therapist attunement, co-regulation, and experiential engagement in facilitating brain-based healing and therapeutic change within the play therapy relationship.

Technology
1. This virtual event will be hosted via Zoom Meeting, and you may be prompted to download or upgrade your Zoom app if using a mobile device. A strong WiFi connection will be required for best quality.
2. We recommend clicking your "Join Webinar" button early and checking that your speakers are on, and camera and microphone are working, before the event begins.
3. Please respect that no copying, recording, or distribution of live session content is allowed. CE's are provided for the "live" sessions only. CE's will not be available for the recordings.

All trainings are subject to sufficient registration.
If a live event is canceled due to insufficient registration, weather-related emergencies, or extreme technological difficulties, all paid registrants will be given the choice to either attend a rescheduled event at no additional charge or be issued a full refund. No refunds offered within 30 days of the event.
Should we need to cancel or reschedule training, all efforts will be made to contact registrants via the email that was provided during the event registration.
No partial CE credit is available. Attendees must be present for the entire duration of the course (with quiz ~ 70% = passing) to obtain any credit.
Live events may be recorded for future non-contact training opportunities. Attendees will be given prior notice of any recording; however, participation in the event implies consent to the recording and consent for any educational or commercial use without compensation.
Continuing education credits for state or professional licensing boards are not available unless specifically indicated on the training announcement. Contact your state board or professional organization for guidance.
Dora Henderson is responsible only for the administration of the training. Any other costs for participation are the responsibility of the registrant.
Quiz answers, evaluations, and participant information are stored for audit purposes for 5 years.
No exceptions will be made to these policies.
No refunds will be given for any course in which a certificate has already been issued.
Cancellations received at least 30 days before a scheduled live training will be refunded 100%.
Cancellations less than 15 days before a scheduled live training will receive no refund or credit.
